There was a similar number of 1,326 lambs at Powranna on Tuesday and as with recent weeks almost the entire yard was bought by restockers as major exporters have sufficient numbers being delivered to their works. Most lambs met a slightly stronger market with restockers paying $48 to $92 for very small lambs, $56 to $100 for light, $116 to $150 for light trade and $152 to $170/head for trade lambs. The few killing lambs made $168 to $222/head.
There was another small yarding of 696 mutton and most sheep improved $5 to $10/head with extra heavy making $176 to $186, heavy $162 to $176, medium weights $130 to $151 and lighter $48 to $88/head.
