About the ewes

This is a mob of 1000 purebred Merino ewes, classed as hoggets and offered as genuine breeder ewes. They are vendor bred with a genetic base of Moojepin, Anderson and Mumblebone. The ewes are currently NSM and unjoined, making them suitable for restocker, breeding and store buyers. They carry White (2025) tags.

First shorn in January 2026, with a planned shear in October or November 2026 which will include a further lice treatment as per protocol. Worm Egg Count is currently at 20/0 and the vendor will drench if required prior to sale.

Accreditation and traceability

The ewes are LPA accredited, lifetime traceable, antibiotic free and fit to load. There is no withholding period in place.

Shearing and availability

The ewes are to be shorn in November and delivered early December, with availability from 1 December to 15 December. An earlier sale pre-shearing can be negotiated based on wool value.
