Commentary

Aussie Land & Livestock Yarding: 237hd

Agents yarded 725hd at this months Coolabunia Fat & Store Sale. Prices were in line with all other selling centres for the week.

Bulls made up to $3.78/kg for $3,000/hd and averaged $3.62/kg. Bullocks made $3.92/kg for $2,200/hd. Store cows averaged $3.74/kg and topped at $3.56/kg.

Weaner steers averaged $4.04/kg and topped at $4.88/kg for $1,300/hd. Feeders made up to $4.98/kg for $1,850/hd, averaging $4.50/kg. Heavy feeders made up to $4.66/kg for $2,000/hd. Mickey bulls made up to $3.88/kg for $1,400/hd.

Weaner heifers averaged $3.39/kg topping at $4.04/kg for $1,100/hd. Feeder heifers made up to $4.00/kg for $1,550/kg averaging $3.72/kg. Heavy heifers topped at $4.26/kg and averaged $3.90/kg for $1,650/hd.

Cows & calves made up to $1,900/unit.
