🐏TUESDAY SHEEP SALE RESULTS 🐑

🐑 DM Freeman & M Lennox of Parkes had a very successful sale with a pen of heavy trade weight 2nd X lambs which brought $344.

🐑 Hutchins & Sons of Peak Hill also had a great sale with a pen of neat trade weight 2nd X Lambs which brought $307.

🐑 Milpose Pastoral Co of Goonumbla had a great sale with a pen of trade weight 1st X lambs bringing $304.

Tuesdays sheep and lamb market saw a larger yarding of 42,000 with reduced quality presented with good runs of grain assisted trade type lambs, most of the usual buyers were present and competing in a cheaper market. Cross bred lamb prices fell with some good runs of trade lambs bringing up to 1205c per kg with good quality where as heavy types averaged 1120c per kg. 5,650 Merino lambs were presented ranging from 980c to 1150c. There were only 500 hoggets yarded the best bringing $330. The mutton job saw cheaper trends also with mixed quality presented, with most sales between 780c & 840c. Around 10,000 sheep were yarded.
