Commentary

here was an increase in numbers at Mt Barker this week with 1126 head yarded for the weaner sale.
Heavier steers and heifers were sold at similar values to the previous week while lighter calves were mixed depending on quality.

Steers over 400kg topped at 460c, while the heavy weights were up 20c to sell to 476c top. Heifers over 400kg made up to 400c,

330-380kg heifers hit a top of 428c and lighter weights were up 15c to 408c.
