Total Yarding: 1640 (+381)

Numbers are slowly rising and the quality was fair to good. There were more tail end cattle and a good supply of feeders. Trade cattle were better supplied and there were reasonable numbers of prime grown steers and heifers. Around 400 good quality cows were penned and a bigger run of heavy bulls. The market sold to a stronger trend with the exception of the grown cattle to process.

Weaner steers sold to 619c and heifers 538c/kg. Feeder steers lifted 15c on medium weights and sold out to 608c/kg, heavy feeder steers were firm and ranged from 472c to 553c/kg. Feeder heifers lifted 15c across the medium and heavy weights and sold from 443c to 522c/kg. Trade cattle lifted 3c and heifers ranged from 480c to 500c/kg.

Grown steers and bullocks were back 20c (last weeks gain) and reached 490c/kg and the prime and heavy grown heifers slipped 6c to 10c/kg with most selling between 458c and 490c/kg. The bulk of the cows were heavy weights and sold up to 10c stronger with the secondary heavy cows getting most of the gain and ranged from 395c to 428c/kg. The best of the good run of heavy B muscled bulls reached 458c/kg.
