Total Yarding: 10184 (+5165) | Sheep Yarding: 1429 (+775) | Lamb Yarding: 8755 (+4390)
Numbers more then doubled as agents yarded 8,755 lambs and 1,429 sheep to total a combined 10,184 head overall. These sold to a large field of buyers with the trade and processors active along with a large field of restockers. The market consists of mostly new season lambs now with only a few older lots on offer. Quality was mixed with something for any order as pricing was dearer with a range of 1060c to 1150c/kg cwt covering most sales with a lift in price of $5 to $12/head over both sheep and lamb markets.
Restocker orders competed for and purchased nearly all of the lighter end of the market as they took light lambs from $149 to $216, light merinos from $152 to $205, light trade lots from $232 to $260 and even some trade weighted lots out to $275/head.
The trade took trade weighted lots from $214 to $260, heavy lambs from $252 to $275 and extra heavy pens from $291 to $340/head.
Older lambs saw $236 to $250 for trade weights, heavy pens returned from $270 to $300 as the few extra heavy lots made from $306 to $336/head.
Hoggets sold from $207 to $290 as light ewes ranged from $166 to $216/head. Medium weighted ewes sold from $201 to $247 as heavy sheep returned from $255 to $280/head. Sheep sold out to 850c/kg cwt with rams selling from $190 to $245/head.
