Meat & Livestock Australia Saleyard Reports

Report Date: 24th April 2024

Total Yarding: 3,489

There was a smaller yarding of 3489 head at CQLX Gracemere sale – 1234 less than last week. A large part of the offering came from Clermont, Collinsville, Bowen and Nebo districts – some of that due to there being no sale tomorrow in Emerald. A mixed quality line up with fewer plain conditioned cattle was offered. The panel of buyers is similar to last weeks however some are either not operating or operating very cautiously. Cow values eased across the board and there was some variation in values on other lines, often due to quality variations from last sale.
