Buyer competition remained solid throughout the prime section, with all regular processors active. Heavy bullocks were well supplied and met strong competition, while heavy cows continued to attract solid processor demand. Well-finished export cattle were a feature of the sale, underpinning a firm market across the prime categories.
Store cattle numbers remained limited, with only a small selection of feeder and weaner cattle offered. Despite the reduced supply, quality lines continued to meet strong demand, with weaner steers a highlight of the sale, attracting solid competition from re-stockers and backgrounders.
