Commentary 

With no Clermont Sale for nearly a month agents yarded 1660 cattle today. The offering was drawn from the mailn supply areas with one large consignment from Collinsville. The yarding was dominated by very good runs of well finished prime cattle with the market easing 10-15 cents across most categories due to the number of supply coming forward and short weeks around the corner. Bulls today topped at 398c/kg to avgeage 374c/kg. Best of the bullocks reached 427c/kg to avgeage 414c/kg, while heavy prime cows over 520kgs topped a 360c/kg, medium score cows made to 352c/kg and averged 322c/kg. Heavy prime heifers topped at 405c/kg to avgerage 395cJkg. Very few heavy feeders to quote, with the best of the making 420c/kg, trade weight feeder steers made to 450c/kg. Weaners steers reached 556c/kg. Trade weight feeder heifers sold to 380c/kg and weaner heifers were very few to quote.Highlights
