Agents yarded just over 500 head at this week’s Clermont Prime & Store Sale. The yarding was of mixed quality with weaner steers dominating the yarding with the best if them making 544c/kg. In the Prime Section values held fir on last week sale, best of the bullocks made 458kgs to average 438c/kg, the best of the heavy cows hit 362c/kg to average 360c/kg. Heavy prime heifers made to 408c/kg.
The best of the bulls made 380c/kg to average 363c/kg. in the store section cattle were mainly Brahman or Brahman X, Feeder steers reached 458c/kg to average 443c/kg. Weaner steers got out to 544c/kg to average 507c/kg. Feeder heifers topped at 415c/kg to average 400c/kg. Weaner heifers topped at 368c/kg to average 355c/kg.
