There were approximately 2,800 head penned representing a decrease of 350 head week-on-week. Quality was good with a larger selection of heavy weights and fewer calves on offer. There was a huge crowd of onlookers as most local agencies were represented. There were several feedlot orders present and competing for suitable heavy weights. Most sales throughout the yarding were firm with a few dearer lots in the light weight calves. The grown steers not recorded in this data sold to stronger competition from lot feeders.
