Total Yarding: 185

With an imminent flood at our doorstep, the number of cattle offered at the
Macksville Fortnightly Fat & Store Sale significantly reduced with 185 head offered on the day. The buyers who braved the rising water level were met with a reduced quality yarding resulting in a drop in prices from the prior fortnight. With limited weaners on offer, the yarding mostly consisted of cows and heavy heifers and steers, with a notable sale of young Angus cows by local producers Scott and Donna Gaddes which topped at $2,023 on the day.
