Commentary
The Sarina combined agents prime and store sale on the 14th November 2025 yarded a total of 507 head.
Comprising of 199 Steers, 269 Heifers, 20 cows, 10 cows and calves and 8 Bulls and mickeys. There was a mixed
yarding of cattle today. Pens varied across the board with mixed quality. Pens of quality steers and heifers sold
to a firm market competing with other selling centres in the region to other pens of store cattle selling to a firm
to slightly cheaper trend due to quality. Fat cattle sold very well going to local and southern processors. The
feeder steer side of the market sold to a very firm if not slightly dearer trend in some areas of the day. Weaner
steers slightly lacked quality due to the end of the dry season but firm to dearer trends in the quality yarding
seen today. Heavier heifers sold well with a very mixed variation of heifers seen today. Weaner heifers sold
slightly easier but remained firm across the top end of the quality shown. Buyers from south east and southern
Queensland showed interested today aswell as many local buyers attending and actively bidding.
