Commentary

A total yarding of 949 head was presented today. Buyer competition remained strong with processors and re-stockers the most active throughout the sale. Export and slaughter cattle remained fully firm this week. Heavy feeder steers were in short supply this week and prices reflected the limited numbers. Yearling and re-stocker steers saw a slight softening this week although very dependent on quality.
