985 head were yarded today. The market remained generally firm across most descriptions, with
limited movement in prices throughout the sale. Cows remained unchanged on last week, while
bulls and bullocks also held firm at similar levels. Heavy feeder steers continued their recent
upward trend, selling 15-20c/kg dearer than last week under strong competition. Feeder heifers
remained unchanged, with re-stocker cattle and weaners also holding steady on last week’s
levels.
