Total yarding: 974

Agents Boyd O’Brien Bartholomew reported an increased yarding of 974 head of cattle. Heavy ox and steers sold slightly easier but with plenty of competition for the better-quality types. Over 250 cows were yarded with vendors pleased for the return of the cows carrying good condition. Lighter conditioned cows eased as restockers get choosy as we approach winter. Weaner steers were slightly cheaper but plenty of buyers in attendance competing for the choice pens. Yearling & weaner heifers sold to an easier market.
