Commentary 

780 head was yarded this morning at the Clermont Prime & Store Sale, the yarding was dominated by mainly prime with a few mixed pens of store cattle. A mixed quality yarding of prime cattle on offer with the well finished better lines of bulls and bullocks selling to a dearer trend, while cows were slightly cheaper on the pervious fortnight due a mixed quality offering. Heavy Bullocks over 600kgs topped at 373c/kg to avg 369c/kg. 500-600kg bullock made to 377c/kg to record and average of 367c/kg. Heavy cows reached 340c/kg to record an average of 308c/kg, 400-520kg cows made to 335c/kg to average 293c/kg.
Heavy prime heifers over 600kgs made to 353c/kg, while heifers 400-500kg range made to 354c/kg to average 346c/kg.
Very little runs of store cattle to quote on this fortnight.

Highlights

David & Katie Luke “Lignum” Clermont sold Droughtmaster X Cows 575kgs for 340c/kg to return $1956.
lan & Lorraine O’Shannessy “Bellevue” Clermont sold Brahman X Bullocks for 370c/kg for 615kgs to make $2276.
The Mifsud Family “Glen Idol” Clermont consigned a run of prime cattle their bulls making 326c/kg for 652kgs to come back at $2128, their HGP TREATED bullocks topped at 377c/kg for 561kgs to make $2118 and their cows reached 335c/kg for 517kgs to return $1734.
Pioneer Grazing “Pioneer” Clermont sold Droughtmaster Heifers 613kgs for 353c/kg for $2167.
