Commentary 

The Clermont Agents yarded a total of 760 head for the first sale of 2025. The yarding was predominatley prime bullocks & cows as well as a quality run of feeder steers.
Cattle were drawn mainly from the local supply area, with a run of prime cows from the Alpha district. The best of the heavy bullocks selling to 372.2 c/kg to average 370.6 c/kg. Best of the heavy cows selling to 306.2 c/kg to average 301.9 c/kg, Prime heifers to 334.2 c/kg, heavy bulls to 228.2 c/kg. Feeder steers topped at 396.2 c/kg to average 387.1c/kg. Feeder heifers topped at 352.2 c/kg. There were too few weaners to accurately quote.

Highlights

Khartoum Pastoral Co “Khartoum” Clermont sold Santa bullocks to 372 c/kg average 668 kg for $2,484. Also selling Santa cows to 300 c/kg average 640 kg for $1921 & Charolais cross feeder heifers to 346 c/kg average 342 kg for $1,184.
Skyview Farming “Glenidol” Clermont sold Simmental cross bullocks to 372 c/kg average
618 kg for $2300.
Crispin Plains Ag P/L sold Brahman cross bullocks to 370 c/kg average 598 kg for $2,216.
Luke Jackson “Frankfield” Clermont sold Brahman cross bullocks to 372 c/kg average 631 kg for $2,348.
Rostron Grazing “Eulimbie” Alpha sold Droughtmaster cross cows to 302 c/kg average 565 kg for $1,707.
Alan & Carly Guilfoyle “Table Downs” Clermont sold a quality run of Charolais cross feeder steers topping at 394 c/kg average 450 kg for $1,775. The 140 steers in the run averaged 392c/kg.
