Total Yarding: 1,929

Commentary

Numbers continued to rise for a total yarding of 1929 good quality weaner calves. Heavy weight steers were firm to back 10c while the lighter weight calves attracted more competition gaining from 10c to 30c/kg. Heifer calves trended up in all weight categories with extra heavy weights seeing the biggest gain with additional feeder interest.

Weaner steers weighing over 380kg sold from 264c to 326c while weights from 330 to 380kg made 296c to 340c and lighter weights under 330kg returned 200c to 370c/kg.

Weaner heifers weighing over 380kg reached 258c to 274c while weights from 330kg to 380kg sold from 218c to 262c /kg. Lighter weights made from 180c for plain calves to 260c/kg.
Weaner bulls sold to feeders for 310c while live export paid 160c to 328c/kg.
