Numbers were down for a good quality yarding with weaners once again dominating the numbers. Feed lotters were active on the heavier weight calves while restocker and background buyers were selective causing a downward trend in pricing. A small yarding of heavy cows eased selling to 328c/kg
Heavy weight weaner steers over 330kg sold from 618c to 626c/kg. Medium weight and lightweight calves returned from 566c to 736c/kg. Weaner heifers dominated the yarding with heavy weights selling from 484c to 618c while medium weights returned 468c to 586c and lightweights from 470c to 660c/kg.
Grown steers made from 370c to 494c while the trade heifers sold for 320c and feeder heifers returned 372c to 430c/kg. Heavy prime cows sold from 280c to 328c while store cows made 200c to 282c/kg to feeder and restocker buyers.
Heavy bulls gained 4c/kg selling for 300c to 302c, medium weight bulls made 260c to 292c and light weight bullies returned 378c to 504c/kg.
