The trends appear to be:
- Supply lower overall, with significant declines in QLD, VIC and WA yardings
- Strong restocker and feeder competition across most markets
- Weaner and feeder cattle generally dearer
- Store cattle demand remained very strong, particularly in southern markets
- Cow markets mostly firm to dearer, although some processor categories eased
- Quality cattle continued to attract the strongest competition

- Strong restocker demand
- Increased exporter competition supporting prime cattle values
NSW markets were mostly stronger:
- Armidale recorded significant gains for feeder and restocker cattle despite plain winter-quality stock
- Dubbo saw strong demand lift weaner, feeder and grown cattle prices, while cows remained firm
- Yass produced mixed results, with restocker weaners and feeder steers dearer but processor cows easing
- Dubbo Store Sale recorded strong competition for Angus weaners, PTIC females and cow-calf units
VIC store markets stood out:
- Koonwarra maintained firm prices with strong feedlot competition and good-quality offerings
- Mortlake saw steers rise up to 40c/kg and heifers up to 30c/kg on strong restocker and online demand
