The trends appear to be:

Queensland

  • Koonwarra was mixed, with quality trade cattle and grown steers firmer, active restocker demand for secondary young cattle, softer heavy beef cows and stronger dairy cows.
  • Shepparton experienced weaker demand with an export buyer absent, although best beef cows and quality feeder steers remained well supported.
  • The additional Wangaratta, Wodonga and Shepparton reports provided no current market trend.
