The trends appear to be:
- Queensland was mixed, with strong demand for quality cattle at Moreton and improved heavy steers at Roma, while Warwick and younger cattle remained under pressure.
- NSW markets were mostly softer, with calves, yearlings, feeders and cows easing, although some heavy cattle and restocker lines remained relatively firm.
- Victoria was mixed to softer, with vealers, feeders and cows under pressure while quality young and finished cattle held firmer.
- South Australia remained relatively firm despite some easing, while Tasmania recorded stronger heavy cow prices.
- National yardings were lower both on the day and week to date.
Queensland
- Warwick recorded a smaller mixed-quality yarding that met selective buying, with most classes unable to match previous rates despite good demand for well-bred lines.
- Mareeba recorded strong participation from local, southern and Tablelands buyers, with Northern and Cape York cattle dominating the offering.
- Moreton recorded strong demand that kept cows, heavy heifers, steers and feeders firm to higher despite dry conditions.
- Roma recorded a smaller, plainer-quality yarding, with younger cattle easing while improved heavy grown steers strengthened and feeder steers remained mostly firm.
Summary: Queensland markets were mixed, with strong demand for quality cattle offsetting softer conditions for younger and secondary cattle.

Summary: NSW markets were predominantly softer, with young cattle, feeders and cows under pressure despite some resilience among grown and restocker cattle.
Victoria

- Shepparton recorded a similar-sized yarding that sold to a cheaper market across most categories, although top-quality vealers and heavy beef steers held firmer.
