Previous Close Cattle Markets Summary
Cattle markets generally trended firmer across the eastern states, with strong buyer competition, improved seasonal conditions and reduced supply supporting price gains across most categories, although some northern Queensland centres reported mixed results.

- Strong buyer competition across most regions, supported by recent rainfall and improved confidence
- Feeder, weaner and young cattle generally dearer
- Trade and export cattle mostly firm to higher
- Cow markets stronger, with notable gains in many centres
- Quality and condition remained key drivers of price outcomes
