Total Yarding: 163

There was a larger yarding of trade and export cattle at Powranna on Tuesday with about 50% being cows. The yearling market showed a slightly easier tendency with feeders, restockers and butchers competing.

Yearling steers made 412c to 464c, and heifers from 410c to 450c/kg.

There was a mixed quality line-up of grown steers and they sold from 342c to 400c/kg. There was a larger number of cows and most met an easier market with heavy beef cows averaging 10c less, making from 280c to 338c to average 323c/kg. The leaner heavy weight cows made from 240c to 312c/kg. The light and medium weights from 200c to 272c/kg. Heavy bulls made 240c to 270c/kg.
